At Design and Wellness Center, we offer holistic-integrative wellness and functional medicine health coaching that includes stress management and spiritual counseling. Our holistic-integrative coaching program empowers our clients to make lasting behavior changes that are the foundation for a lifetime of health and well-being. Primary care clinicians and acute care hospitals who are overwhelmed with large client caseloads cannot meet every need of their patients with pre-chronic or existing chronic conditions. This is where we come in as holistic nurse wellness coaches.


Holistic nurse coaching is a skilled, purposeful, results-oriented and structured client interaction that is provided by a Registered Nurse for the purpose of promoting achievement of client goals. In coaching, you as the client are the expert about your own health needs. We are here to help support, keep you accountable and guide you along an individualized wellness journey.


Through coaching sessions, we help you promote and facilitate the growth, healing and well-being of you as a whole person by using coaching principles and healing modalities that integrate body-mind-emotion-spirit-environment. We integrate coaching competencies to facilitate a process of change and transformation that assists our clients to actualize their highest potential and meeting their life, health and wellness goals. 

Health and wellness is impacted by multiple interconnected dimensions necessitating an integration of modern medicine and complementary alternative modalities. These dimensions include the choices one makes that affect their physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, financial, social, spiritual well-being and the medical care and holistic approaches utilized for their health and wellness care. 


Our holistic coaching programs were designed to guide individuals who are in the midst of a life or health challenge and/or individuals who desire to discover a more balanced heathy lifestyle for disease prevention and health promotion. We help individuals discover healthier ways of dealing with stress, coping and moving through life and health challenges and incorporating complementary and alternative functional health therapies for better wellness (healthy nutrition, exercise, lifestyle modifications, better sleep, movement, yoga, meditation, stress management etc.). Stress Management

Stress management coaching supports clients to deal and cope with their stressors in healthy ways. We help clients to recognize their stressors, uncover the root cause of stressors and to learn strategies to build resistance and resilience to stress. We teach various relaxation techniques and coping methods so that stress no longer controls your life, health and well-being. We assist clients, community groups and organizations in identifying major life stressors and overcoming the challenges they face.

We teach clients about the ill effects of stress on the mind, body and spirit and strategies to better manage their stress.  We coach and lead clients through a host of cognitive behavioral coaching techniques (CBC-CBT), stress reduction methods and relaxation practices including:

Ditch the fad diets and weight loss programs that do not work and that do not consider your body temple as its' uniquely designed to fulfil a higher purpose.  Uncover the subconscious thoughts that have led you to unhealthy eating patterns and a negative body image. Diets, pills, exercise, liposuction etc..-- these don't work often, because we haven't gotten to the root cause of our weight issues which is often emotional and stress related. We remain addicted and/or misaligned with unhealthy food choices instead of prioritizing our spiritual needs that is directly linked to a healthy and vital physical body. ​Our Holistic Wellness Coaching Principles and What Coaching is Not.

  • Holistic wellness coaching is an ongoing relationship between us as your coaches and you who desires coaching.

  • Although we are licensed Registered Nurse (RN), our coaching service is not psychotherapy, mental health counseling, medical treatment, mental health care, or treatment for substance abuse.

  • We are not functioning as licensed social workers, psychotherapists, primary care medical providers or mental health counselors. Our coaching service is not intended as a replacement for traditional medicine, counseling, psychiatric interventions, treatment for mental illness, recovery from severe trauma or past abuse, financial assistance, legal counsel, or other professional services.

  • Our coaching services are for clients who are basically well adjusted, emotionally healthy, functioning effectively, and wanting to make changes in their lives with a holistic wellness focus.

  • Our coaching is designed to address issues you would like to consider that have a holistic  undertone. These could include (but are not limited to) health and wellness practices, functional medicine, weight loss, intuitive and mindful eating, nutrition, energy healing, movement, exercise, meditation, yoga, better sleep, stress management and any other areas of your life in which is impacted or supported by your current level of wellness development including career development, relationship enhancement, lifestyle management, time management, goal-setting, life balance, decision making, movement through life or health transitions, or the achievement of short-term or long-term goals.

  • Our coaching will be an ongoing relationship that might take a number of months, although either party can terminate at any time. Some or all of our coaching services might be done through in-person, online courses, virtual software, telehealth, telephone or internet contact.

  • Our coaching sessions can involve brainstorming, values clarification, the completion of written assignments, education, goal setting, identifying plans of action, accountability, making requests, assignments to change behavior, examining lifestyle, motivational interviewing and questioning.

  • Our coaching relationship will be most effective when we both are honest and straightforward in our communication.

  • Our coaching services is a caring and confidential relationship and we agree to keep all of your personal information strictly confidential, except in those situations in which such confidentiality would violate the law or could jeopardize the safety of yourself or others.

  • Our coaching is facilitated with the assumption that each of us is guided by our own values and beliefs.

Our 90-Day Radiant Health and Vitality program involves integrative health and wellness coaching and spiritual counseling. The program employs a functional medicine approach to empower our clients to adopt healthy lifestyle habits.


Our goal is to bring a healthy balance to your physical, spiritual, mental, emotional & energetic elements for more vitality, resilience, wholeness and optimal healing.

A holistic approach to health, simply means that the whole person (body, mind, and spirit), is taken into account when recommending holistic lifestyle practices. To achieve an optimal level of wellness, there must be equilibrium between the body, mind, and spirit. The most important aspects of our health and wellness programs are movement and exercise, adequate rest, healthy nutrition, meaningful connections, mindfulness practices, self-awareness, spiritual awareness, energy healing, and stress reduction. 


Our 90-day Radiant Health and Vitality program allows time for you to make sustainable changes. We are here to share transformational tools and to help you create a newer and happier life for yourself while overcoming any roadblocks that have been holding you back from living in peace, harmony and from the best version of yourself.

What is our Spiritual Coaching/Counseling practice based on?

Spiritual coaching/counseling is not psychological counseling or psychotherapy, but rather a reflective interaction that guides the client into unveiling their spiritual and emotional needs in a compassionate and caring nature. Our Holistic Wellness and Spiritual Coaching/Counseling program is not attached to any particular religion or faith practice. As holistic integrative nurses, we use a hybrid approach and merely coach, education and counsel within the area of general spirituality and a confidential-professional coaching/counseling setting which may include elements of energy-healing principles.


Spiritual coaching/counseling greatly complements my other therapies of  stress management, energy healing, meditation, Yoga etc. I help my clients understand their own spirituality to promote peace, healing and union with a higher essence and life purpose in relation to common life problems, challenges and issues.
