Service Description

Reiki is an evidence-based- Japanese healing technique for pain, stress reduction and relaxation that also brings balance and harmony to your body, mind and soul. Acupressure is an ancient therapeutic technique with over 4,000 years of history. Acupressure utilizes the same medical theory used in acupuncture and similar to Reiki. In acupressure, gentle pressure/targeted gentle massage is applied to specific locations on the body called “acupoints” or "trigger points" instead of the insertion of an acupuncture needle. Pressure is applied with the fingers, elbows or tuning forks. WHAT TO EXPECT 1. During the intake process we will discuss your overall concerns and complete the client consent and confidentiality agreement. 2. Before your session, think of specific areas (physically, mentally, spiritually, or emotionally) that you would like to focus on for the session. Please keep an open mind as healing energy works in it's own timing and most clients will require more than one session. The number of sessions depends on your needs and goals - both Reiki and acupressure treatments work best accumulatively over a consistent period of time. Each session builds on the work accomplished in the previous session(s). 3. For in-person sessions, the you will lie down comfortably on a massage table removing only your shoes and jewelry. You will remain fully clothed. Aromatherapy, essential oils and healing sounds (soft meditative music) can be used in the session based on availability and your preference. ​4. During the session I will gently lay my hands on or slightly above your body and at different meridian points of the body, using specialized hand positions and targeted gentle massage. Hand positions are held for a few minutes at each point during the session to aid energy flow. The energy emitted is thought to correct blockages and imbalances in the flow of energy throughout the client's body, meridians and energy centers. 5. After the session is complete, I will allow you time to talk about your experience. Be prepared to drink plenty of water after your healing session, as the energy can prompt a mild detox process and self-healing. 90- min In-person Combined Reiki and Acupressure Session -$95 per /hr Appointment Policy COVID-19 safety precautions: Masks are encouraged and I'll be wearing a mask during your appointment. If you feel sick, tested positive or have been exposed to someone with Covid-19, please reschedule your appointment. Cancellations Payment is due at the time of booking. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, a 24 hour advance notice is required. I understand that unanticipated events happen and my intention is to fair to all of my clients. No refunds are issued for appointments cancelled without a 24 hour notice, for no-shows or for any services already rendered.  Late Arrivals​ If you arrive late to your appointment, your session will remain as the time scheduled in order to accommodate my client appointments following yours. For client's arriving more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may be subject to cancellation and no refunds will be issued. This is out of respect and consideration to myself and my other clients.
