Beginners Yoga For Women Over 40!

This virtual series is a great opportunity for women over 40 and new to yoga to learn the basic poses (asanas) in combination with breathing techniques.


We will break down yoga in a simple, enjoyable and relaxing way!


Register early, spots are limited! $49.00 for 5 week series.

Beginner's Hatha Yoga is a peaceful, relaxing way to wind down your day. We use gentle movements aided through props (blankets and blocks).


This program is designed for beginners with no Yoga or meditation experience.


This beginners yoga class 5-Week series will be held every Wednesday from 7:00pm to 8:00pm starting April 20, 2022 and will continue to May 18, 2022.

This 5-week class will be led for women over 40 and who can benefit from the vastness of yoga including:

  • -Enhances balance, stability and flexibility

  • -Improves muscle tone, posture and strength

  • -Improves circulation

  • -Reduces menopausal symptoms

  • -May help lower chronic pain (ex. back pain, fibromyalgia, sciatica etc.)

  • -Improves heart function and may lower blood pressure

  • -Helps the body release stress, anxiety and tension

  • -May reduce depression and uplift mood

  • -Promotes better sleep and rest

  • -Improves mental focus, memory, clarity & concentration

  • -Improves digestion

  • -Promotes natural balance between mind, body and spirit

  • -Enhances physical, emotional, spiritual, social, intellectual and mental health.

  • -Supports overall well-being

This yoga class is sensitive to the needs of women over 40 and draw from the following yoga styles:

  • Beginner Hatha Yoga Flow (active, warming, blend of beginner asanas, slower and gentle poses with use of yoga props)

  • Breathing Techniques (Pranayama) supports movement and the nervous system

Introduction to Yoga

A 5-Week Beginner's Series- $49

How it works:

This beginners yoga class 5-Week series will be held twice a week via Zoom. We will meet every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm EST and every Saturday from 11am to 12pm EST starting May 4, 2022 and will continue to June 4, 2022.

Join in every Wednesday evening @ 6:30 pm- 7:30pm EST and Saturday morning @ 11am to 12pm EST

A Zoom link will be provided at least 1 hour prior to each class.


If you are unable to attend a class session, a recording will be made available.

Suggested items to fully enjoy your Yoga experience-


  • -Access to Zoom via laptop, desktop or cellular device.

  • -Yoga mat or towel

  • -Yoga blocks (substitute with 2 large books

  • -Yoga bolster (substitute with 2 large blankets, 1 large cushion or 1 large pillow)

  • -Yoga strap (substitute with 1 belt)

  • -Safe and quiet space free of obstacles in path, free of clutter and noise

  • -Non-restrictive-comfortable clothing (exercise or yoga attire, pajamas etc..)

  • -Water bottle

  • -Waiver release required
